- Primary underwriting for new business from assigned broker panel.
- Supporting Senior Underwriter in managing allocated renewal book.
- Making underwriting decisions, achieving financial goals, and fostering team ethos.
- Collaborating with internal/external associates and providing exceptional service to brokers and clients.
- Underwrite and assess risk for business growth and profitability.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, execute underwriting strategies, and manage business efficiently.
- Develop relationships with brokers/clients, provide leadership, and engage in sales activities.
- Participate in training and contribute to business development across Travelers.
- Proven underwriting experience.
- Knowledge of insurance marketplace, underwriting principles, and analytical thinking.
- Ability in customer focus, relationship management, and Microsoft Office systems.
- Previous underwriting experience in Property and Casualty classes.
- Full and valid driving license.
- Private Medical Insurance: Provided on commencement of employment.
