- Planprepare and deliver engaging art lessons that are tailored to theneeds and abilities of individualstudents
- Create a positive and inclusivelearning environment that allows students to develop theircreativity and confidence
- Assess and evaluatestudents artwork and provide constructive feedback to support theirprogress and development
- Collaborate withcolleagues to coordinate crosscurricular projects andactivities
- Stay up to date with current trendsand developments in art education and implement innovative teachingstrategies
- Maintain accurate records ofstudents progress and achievements
- Communicateeffectively with parents/guardians providing regular updates onstudents performance andwellbeing
- Qualifiedteacher status (QTS) with a specialization in ArtEducation
- Proven experience teaching art atprimary/secondary level
- Strong subjectknowledge in art and design including a range of techniques andmediums
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage andmotivate students
- Creativity and enthusiasm forart education with the ability to inspire a love of art instudents
- Strong organizational andtimemanagement skills with the ability to plan and deliver lessonseffectively
- A commitment to safeguarding andpromoting the welfare of children and youngpeople
