We are excited to offer an exceptionalopportunity for a Head of Maths to join our team at a highlyregarded school in Barnet. This is a fulltime position starting inSeptember. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individualwith a strong background in Mathematics education and a passion fordelivering excellence. As the Head of Maths you will have theopportunity to lead and shape the Mathematics department workingclosely with a team of experienced teachers to create a stimulatingand engaging learning environment. You will play a key role indeveloping and implementing the curriculum ensuring that studentsreceive a highquality education that prepares them for success inhigher education and beyond. In addition you will have theopportunity to collaborate with other Heads of Department andsenior leadership to contribute to the overall strategic directionof the school. This role offers a platform for professional growthand the chance to make a significant impact on the education of ourstudents.
Responsibilities
Requirements
QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics ora related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or MathematicsEducation (preferred) Extensive experience in teaching Mathematicspreferably in a leadership role Excellent knowledge andunderstanding of the Mathematics curriculum Strong leadership andmanagement skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamExcellent communication organization and problemsolving abilitiesCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreastof the latest pedagogical approaches in Mathematicseducation
