    Description

    Russell Tobin is working with a major client in the Pensions industry who needs technical people to join their Data team and take the lead on key client projects as a Senior Pensions Data Technician. You will ensure projects are completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements all the time providing a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time.

    Job Description:

    Working with a team of technicians, specialists, and management to deliver requirements for projects within KPIs and guide the planning process, ensuring accuracy and quality of data projects, with a focus on enhancing customer relationships and improving the delivery of customer experience

    Key tasks:

    • Checking calculations and completing all tasks in line with current work procedures to provide input into the costing of data projects
    • Supporting the team on complex cases, high-value cases, and complaints
    • Complete checking to ensure accuracy is maintained
    • Challenging the activities inside and outside the team to improve the customer experience
    • Attending meetings or joining calls to update clients and the business on project progress

    What we are looking for:

    • Defined Benefit Pensions experience
    • Good Excel experience, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
    • Ability to understand, interpret and input into project plans
    • Ability to evaluate and track progress against a project plan
    • Can identify gaps and errors in complex data
    • Can interpret complex data and make recommendations
