A fantastic opportunity for a Buyer / Purchasing Specialist to join a global manufacturing business based in Bracknell with a salary up to £32,000.

This Procurement position has been created due to business growth & recent acquisitions.

The buyer will sit in the purchasing department, with excellent progression opportunities into a Senior Buyer position over the next few years.

Role responsibilities of the Buyer include:

Analyse and place orders based on demand plans
Optimise inventory levels of all purchased items within required time frames
Prepare reports to forecast the need for goods and materials
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers ensuring efficient and effective communication
Manage RFQs and negotiate with suppliers for the best agreements

Person Specification of the Buyer:

Be confident using Excel and other Microsoft suites
Have experience with forecasting and managing demand appropriately
Have excellent communication across all departments
Be driven and ready to progress their careers

Salary
Up to £32k

This role will be well suited to you if you have held a role within purchasing or procurement as a buyer, sourcing specialist, purchasing specialist, procurement officer, procurement analyst, purchasing assistant or junior buyer.
