    Our client, a leading private day nursery in Horsforth, Leeds, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Room Leader to join their team in the Babies Room.

    Our client is a unique nursery that provides an exceptional learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

    They believe in the power of outdoor play and nature, and their curriculum is inspired by Scandinavian Forest School philosophies.

    Their idyllic setting includes a nature reserve, yurt, outdoor classroom, and nearby woodland, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

    As Deputy Room Leader in the Babies Room, you will play a vital role in supporting the Room Leader and ensuring the smooth running of the room, providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our youngest children.

    Supporting the Room Leader in the planning and delivery of a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

    Taking the lead of the Babies Room in the Room Leader's absence.
    Providing sensitive care and support to babies, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
    Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
    Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
    Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
    Supervising and supporting other Early Years Educators in the room.

    Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience working with babies and young children.
    Strong understanding of child development in the early years.
