What the Hiring Manager Says The Business Services Operations Manager will have a varied but exciting role where they solely manage the Support Services Function and support the Senior Leadership in this function with stakeholder management and change management.

The Support Services Function have a diverse set of activities that range from operational to financial and environmental and require a proactive and flexible line manager who can provide steer, support and empower the team to successfully deliver.

This rolewould benefit from face-to-face engagement and so there is a requirement for the individual to work from the Quilter House office a minimum of three days a week.

As priorities change, the activities required within this role will change in parallel and so this would be best suit someone who is flexible and who can adapt to change.

The role holder will help to take key stakeholders through operational and office changes.

You will understand the management structures, politics, and culture and have the confidence of Senior Managers.

You will lead and advise on best practice of all Business Service & Operational activities within the function.


You will assist Head of Strategy & Operations as and when required as well as acting as Deputy to provide resilience around this role.


You will manage the Support Services team, conducting regular check-ins, identifying development opportunities as well as improving ways of working.


You will provide insight and analysis into the occupancy and issues across the estate by liaising with relationship managers and business leads on a regular basis.

You will support the Workplace Strategy Delivery when required to help colleagues and stakeholders through refurbishments and estate changes.


As the individual will work closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations, there will be a requirement to update and escalate on a regular basis.
