The Position- Support the Staffing Operations Manager in the provision of a providing a best in class people operations function
- Assist the Staffing Operations Manager with the housekeeping and stewarding variable labour deployment ensuring we have a high performing culture, deploy the required numbers within the agreed budget, and grow our directly sourced staffing pool
- Ensure all workers are recruited and trained in line with Club standards Work with the Club and the OEL staffing team to ensure we provide a consistent and high performing staffing operation.
- What you'll do
- Provide support to the Staffing Operations Manager to deliver stewarding and housekeeping variable workers
- Support the team with all aspects of event labour scheduling to address forecast and actual labour spends, and financial performance
- Work in partnership with the senior team to drive change and deliver business improvements
- Manage and deliver payroll for all weekly workers ensuring they are paid on time and correctly
- Support with all administrative and payroll requirements
- Support performance management and succession planning activities in conjunction with the Staffing Operations Manager
- Support the recruitment of housekeeping and stewarding workers
- Work with the Staffing Operations Manager and all HOD's to discuss variable staffing requirements
- Encourage high engagement with regular opendoor approach to communications
- Support activity around any required additional accreditation for specific events
- Ensure new workers demonstrate the SCCC vison and values
- Support the team to drive and implement the people training plans
Essential:
- Passionate about working with people
- Ability to stay calm whilst under pressure
- Accurate and methodical with an eye for detail
- Excellent communicator
- Team player with a cando attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and word
Desirable:
- Experience of working in hospitality or events in a staffing role
- Experience of submitting payroll
- Cricket knowledge
- Venue insight
Please note that this role will involve working weekends and evenings to support match days and events held at the ground.
