Description

As Head of Taxation you will be responsible for all tax related activities within the group, in setting up group tax structure, developing tax strategies and policies for the business, and reviewing transactions and the procedures to ensure tax compliance and accounting, managing relationship with tax advisor and various tax authorities.

Key responsibilities:

Define the company strategy and structure for both direct and indirect tax
Develop tax control and review processes to ensure tax compliance
Work with tax advisor and responsible for accurate and timely tax returns, tax reporting and disclosure
Manage group's transfer pricing strategy, evaluate all relevant tax incentive schemes to ensure tax efficiency
Partner with business finance, accounting, legal and other functions to communicate and implement various tax requirements to optimize group tax position
Act as fist point of contact and identity tax opportunities/risk and advise on all tax matters arising;
Monitor global tax developments in relevant jurisdictions and manage the changes

Main requirements:

Proven tax leadership experience built within digital product/service businesses;
Qualified Tax Accountant with CIOT or CTA;
Working knowledge of corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT/Sales tax, withholding tax and payroll tax etc;
Ability to communicate complicated tax matters to the wider organisation;
Exposure to the video game specific tax incentives of various jurisdictions
