Welcome to the Finance Systems Manager position at Walker Dendle Limited!

The Role

Perfect opportunity for someone transitioning from practice to industry, with full training on Oracle provided.
Responsible for overseeing the Finance Systems Business Risk and Controls function related to the Oracle e-business suite and associated control applications. This role collaborates closely with Internal Audit, IT Governance, and SOX Controls Director.
Supervise and develop team members supporting the Finance Systems Risk and Controls function regardless of their location.
Manage and contribute to ERP systems and internal controls projects, including global corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain centralised Oracle Chart of Accounts and mapping rules to Hyperion and Blackline.
Manage maintenance of Central Finance Statement Reports for business-wide use.
Ensure accuracy in financial transactions with Business Rules maintenance for coding while reducing corrective journals in Hyperion planning.
Handle Exchange Rates maintenance, currency translation, and period end close procedures within Oracle.
Maintain consistency in conventions across business units.
Ensure clear segregation between companies with Business Security Rules maintenance.
Oversee access controls and perform necessary audit validations using Audit or IT tools.
Provide business support on Oracle system related issues.
Coordinate system process changes, internal controls automation, and business process regression testing.
Collaborate with Senior Financial and IT management, internal and external audit on ERP related processes and control matters.

Successful Applicant

Qualified or finalist in ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
Proficient in finance, Receivables, Payables, and asset accounting.
Experience in a SOX controlled environment and Segregation of Duties.
Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong organisational and Intermediate Excel skills.
Tenacious and able to handle project tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of compliance principles and experience in a commercial setting.
