Description
We are seeking a capable and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our client's busy Trauma Orthopaedic Ward team at their major health facility.
The Hospital's Orthopaedic service treats a wide variety of elective and trauma Orthopaedic conditions and comprises an established trauma inpatient ward and a new 9-bedded inpatient unit specifically for elective cases - predominantly hips and knees.
Both units are supported by a seven-bed ITU/ Surgical HDU and a three-bed Medical HDU / CCU, with advanced technology.
The current Guernsey Band 5 salary range is £34876 to £44981 plus an annual bonus of £1,517 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH (2022 salary negotiations are currently underway)Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Providing excellent care, supported by modern equipment and reliant on Healthcare professionals recruited to a high standard.Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC.
Minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a Surgical Ward hospital setting with some experience in trauma and/or elective Orthopaedic
Nurses with a desire to develop further into Orthopaedics in a supported environment are also welcome to apply. A higher-than-UK salary.
