- Oversee and manage the whole project cycle from sales to delivery ensuring the alignment of all stakeholders, focusing on customer requirements and considering industry best practices.
- Create 3D design models and work closely with and support the design engineering team to ensure project delivery as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate an efficient project execution with production, purchasing and all teams involved. Including tasks like generating Bill of Materials, resource planning, tender preparation, etc.
- Keep constant contact with customer key stakeholders through site visits and meetings.
- Manage the relationship with contractors and other external partners.
- Be proactive in contributing to process improvement.
- Act as mentor to less experienced team members.
- Travel mostly within the UK up to 10%.

As Principal Engineer you will be based at our QHE head office in Coventry, you will liaise with the global automobile & aircraft companies, offering best-in-class automated metal surface treatment process lines. A key contributor to the team's effort to continue to exceed customer expectations.

What do we look for?
Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Principal Engineer, Project Manager or any similar role where customer management ideally in a chemical process environment is key. Ideally in an automation, machinery or metal surface treatment environment.
IT skills: AUTODESK VAULT / INVENTOR or a similar.
Languages: English professional level is required.
Location : Based in the Coventry area.
Any additional training will be provided.
