We are offering an exciting opportunity for the post of Junior Clinical Fellow in the busy Department of respiratory medicine within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic new member of the team.

The Clinical Fellow will be supervised by one of the consultants. Individual appraisals will be carried out on a regular basis.

As a Clinical Fellow, you will be involved directly with day to day functioning of the respiratory wards (ward 23/ Respiratory High Care ward 20).

This is a full time post working Monday to Friday, 9-5, with weekend ward round with consultants (8am to 3pm) on a 1 in 7 basis with compensatory breaks in the week.


The post will be based on Ward 23/20, within Royal Preston Hospital working alongside the consultants, middle grades and physicians associates.

This role will offer education and training regional and more local respiratory care as well as being involved in care of patients with high dependency needs.
