- Installation of pipework systems, working from design drawings,

Welding Fabricator - Glasgow, United Kingdom - Kinetic PLC
Description
Kinetic are currently looking to recruit two welding fabricators to work with a class-leading process engineering business. The company specialise in water and effluent treatment, they design and build bespoke engineering solutions.
This position will be initially for 2 months but could be extended depending on demand on work
Location:
X1-Glasgow
x1- Whitburn
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
Overtime will be available on the weekends & will be paid at a higher rate
Responsibilities:
* Works & site-based fabrication of various types of plastic components
such as tanks, scrubbers, ducting, brackets, machine guards,
enclosures, lip extract ducts, thermal plastic forming canopies and
fume cabinets. Typical materials of construction are polypropylene and
uPVC, both with & without GRP reinforcement.
This means that previous experience in the installation of pre engineered and site run pipework systems is essential, including
experience with uPVC, ABS, Polypropylene, socket and butt-fusion
PVDF.
* Installation of screwed stainless steel and galvanised steel pipework
may be required.
* Maintaining the workshop in a clean, tidy & safe environment
