    Clinical Nurse Specialist – Orthopaedics | KIMS Hospital Maidstone
    Full Time Permanent | Competitive Salary in line with Agenda for Change

    Are you a registered nurse with extensive experience in Orthopaedics? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic registered nurse with a passion for orthopaedics to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

    As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work as an autonomous practitioner contributing to the provision of an integrated service for orthopaedic patients including the development and management of new services.

    You will provide quality patient care throughout the hospital, liaising with the multidisciplinary team within the hospital and appropriate external agencies.

    You will be a registered nurse with extensive experience in Orthopaedics at a senior level, with a proven ability to teach, develop and mentor junior members of staff.

    Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions and working within the NMC Code of Practice.

    Communicate with patients on all aspects of their care, management, transfer and timely discharge.
    Be a qualified nurse with a current NMC registration.
    Have extensive knowledge and experience working at a senior level within the Orthopaedic Speciality.
    Have a post graduate qualification in the Orthopaedic Specialty.
    Have experience of working as an Orthopaedic clinical nurse specialist.
