We are seeking a qualified Maths and Physics Tutor to design and implement successful educational programs aimed at preparing international students for entry-level undergraduate studies at both the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University.
Additionally, the role involves providing support to students in their pursuit of meeting their academic progression requirements.Plan teaching sessions which accommodate individualised learning using a variety of resources, including digital learning
Apply the principles of learning and teaching to provide learning activities to meet curriculum requirements and the needs of all students
Support students with action planning to improve academic performance and achieve aspirational targets
Demonstrate and update subject specialist knowledge to ensure the currency of specialist teaching
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics or related area (essential)
A relevant teaching qualification or post-graduate degree (desirable)
Experience of teaching in the Higher or Further Education sectors or of Leaving Certificate (Hons)/A-level (essential)
