    Discover Impactful Work:

    The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing of products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). Reporting to the Chromatography Team Leader, you will assist Thermo Fisher Scientific in the Chromatography Team.

    A Day in the Life:

  • Complete all manufacturing tasks as scheduled on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Report and identify problems associated with chromatography systems and chromatography resins
  • Consistently maintaining high standards of GMP
  • Follow SOPs with outstanding adherence and report any problems with documentation.
  • All other tasks as may be requested by the Team Leader.
  • Keys to Success:

    We are looking for a great teammate, interested in science, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills

    Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience

  • At least 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to work safely with various chemicals and reagents.
  • Ability to read and accurately follow Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including an understanding of the metric system, unit conversions and basic calculations.
  • Punctual and dependable, consistently arriving to work on time and ready to work.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills for working effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to routinely lift equipment of up to 15kg.
  • A desire to identify and implement continuous improvements.
