"An amazing opportunity for a senior credit controller to join a leading company in Newry to join their Finance Team as a Credit Controller at their Head Office Based in Newry
About the Job
The credit controller will be expected to carry out the following duties
- Proactive debt management throughout the month to ensure their exposure is in line with credit limits and terms.
- Providing risk assessments and credit checks for all new customers
- Liaising with solicitors and sale staff to recover bad debts
- Manage order release in line with company deadlines
- Capturing and quickly actioning customer complaints
- Management of customer database
Your skills & experience
- Essential
- Previous Credit Control Experience (ideally in a large organization)
- The ability to work in team as well as individually
- The ability to recognise potential risks to the company and react accordingly
- Confident enough to make decisions on their own
- Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Can work on own initiative
