    Job Description

    Wayman Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher for a great school in Southwest London starting in April 2024. In this Year 2 Teacher role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to Year 2 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.     Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
    • Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
    • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
    • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships
    • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
    • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required

    Year 2 Teacher Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
    • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
    • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices
    • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
