    Job Title:
    MET Technician

    Location:
    Barnstaple

    Salary:
    Up to £37,440 Basic + Bonus (OTE £55,000+)

    We're on the lookout for a skilled MET Technician to join a well-respected body shop in the Barnstaple Area.

    This role opens up due to a surge in workload, and we need someone who's ready to work hard and be part of a bustling team.
    Preference for ATA but not essential.
    We require an MET Technician with relevant mechanical qualifications, preferably with an MET ATA accreditation. Knowledge of wheel alignment is a plus.
    Given the workload and vehicle quality, we need someone efficient without compromising on quality.
    While a background in Bodyshop is preferred, we're open to technicians showing the right expertise.

    MET Technician Role:
    - Mechanical, Electrical, Trim, and bodywork on allocated Jobs
    - Panel replacement and Re-alignment to manufacturer gapping and specification
    - Vehicle diagnostics, fault clearing, and finding
    - Removing, refitting radiators, and air conditioning repair
    - Panel Straightening and Filling
    - Suspension components replacement, repairs, and wheel alignment
    - ADAS calibration (training provided)
    - Identifying additional repair work and liaising with the VDA

    MET Technician Requirements:
    - Fully qualified MET Vehicle Technician
    - Bodyshop experience is a must
    - Full UK driving licence required
    - 5 years' experience in a similar role preferred
    - Certifications like city & guilds, NVQ, or ATA are beneficial
