**Contract Type - Open Ended - Full-time, 35 hours Per Week


The Opportunity:

This exciting new role will lead the Teaching Office side of the team, line managing five members of staff.

The post-holder will have oversight of all matters of academic administration for COL's portfolio of courses and programmes as well as leading and supporting service improvements across the team.

We offer hybrid working for this role with the office based in Paterson's Land, Holyrood campus.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience of managing staff, training and developing individuals and team building: demonstrable ability to empower and motivate staff
  • Demonstrable ability to gather, analyse and present information, write reports and deliver presentations to a wide range of colleagues, academic and administrative
  • Proven interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to positively influence and negotiate with colleagues
  • A demonstrable record of proactively improving administrative systems and procedures A friendly, professional manner and able to provide efficient service under pressure and in busy environment
