    Description

    Quaker Houghton is a global leader inindustrial process fluids. We deliver a wide range of services inmany business segments such as Aerospace Automotive Medical. Thisposition will be working at Magellan inWrexham by providing high level of cleaning& technician services within a manufacturing environmentThe Ideal candidate should be able to work individually but mostimportantly as part of a team. Full training will beprovided.

    Tasks

    Performa wide range of operational support activities at the MagellanFluidcare site which control the optimal condition of Metal Workinglubricants greases coolants cleaners and other Quaker Houghtonindustrial fluids used in the customers manufacturingprocess.

    • Analyze onsite equipment& products in order to decide the proper adjustments i.e.Servicing of coolant management as required. Communicate tocustomer the resulting information &recommendations.
    • Ensure all Quaker Houghtonowned and loaned equipment are kept in suitable condition for theenvironment.
    • Manage and maintain highcleanliness standards and condition monitoring across the customerfacility where our products operate.
    • Ensurethat machines are tested in line with EHS guidelines and are freefrom any contamination &debris.
    • Update machine charts for operatorvisibility and complete test datareports.
    • Ensure to comply with all applicableregulations and standards regarding quality safety environmental aswell as the Quaker Houghton Lifesaving Rules and occupationalhealth standards to minimize risks in these areas and to createopportunities and chances forimprovement.
    • Perform daily/weekly safety checksof equipment and hazard observations.
    • Work aspart of a team and to agreed workingschedules.

    Requirements

    FULLTRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

    Validdriving license is a must FTL is highlyvalued.

    • Good Englishskills.
    • Schedule: Monday Friday.Day shift.
    • Location: Areasonable commuting distance toWrexham.
    • Softskills: team player high safety consciousness proactive goodcommunicator andinfluencer.
