Student Engagement Officer

The Academy seeks to support the best and most gifted designer to fulfil their ambitions and fundamental to its DNA is the focused interest in supporting learners to transition from higher education into entrepreneurship and employment.
Job Purpose
To provide an efficient point of contact for students and other visitors to the Academy and to carry out a range of other administrative tasks for the Academy.
Job Duties
- Welcoming guests and learners to the academy as they come through in reception
- To provide a friendly point of contact for students and others visiting the Academy
- To undertake general administrative duties associated with the Academy and its related internal and external projects.
- To help with student engagement via social channels and to help capture social content.
- To help students seeking additional support and signpost them to the relevant individuals.
- To help with events, tours, and open days on campus.
- To look after housekeeping and general upkeep of the campus, including but not limited to preparing purchase sheets, bookings of rooms etc.
- Other relevant duties as required by the Senior Staff commensurate with the level of the post.
Experience and Qualifications
Educated with 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent experience), you'll have strong IT skills as well as effective organisational and time management skills to prioritise your own workload and have the ability to find creative solutions to varying demands.
You'll have relevant administrative experience, preferably within Higher Education or similar environment, and experience of working effectively as part of a team and independently.
You'll have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate productively to stakeholders, such as staff and students, and explain complex information clearly.
Salary:
£20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
