    Community Host / Leisure Assistant - The Halley Academy - Corelli Road, London

    Job Type: Part Time - Zero Hour Contract

    Salary: £8.60 - £11.44 per hour

    Job Purpose: To warmly welcome our renters and their groups to the school's premises, ensuring all facilities are ready for use on time, enabling each group to fully enjoy their visits.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Provide an outstanding experience for our renters, ensuring all individuals have a positive and memorable time. Aid in setting up facilities for rentals and school events, from arranging sports equipment to activating lighting systems.
    • Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain the school's premises, ensuring everything is left as it was found - from a quick sweep to organizing equipment in the gym. We strive to avoid creating additional work for school staff.
    • Prioritize the security and safety of the school premises. Open and securely close gates and doors, maintaining a safe environment throughout the shift.
    • Conduct regular health and safety checks, promptly report any hazards or malfunctioning equipment through our designated platform to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone on site.
    • Comprehensive training is provided, both in-person and through our online platform, to ensure the Community Host is well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, covering site orientation, safeguarding procedures, manual handling, fire safety, and customer service.
    • We are committed to delivering high-quality work and service. The Community Host may assist in various unlisted tasks to support the school, renters, and the Vivify team, always striving to enhance our standards and services.
