The Talent Set are excited to be working with an amazing health membership body to recruit their Social Media Officer on a permanent basis.

The organisation offers a flexible working pattern, with the expectation of being in the Central London office 2 days/week (Tuesday/Wednesdays)


This role will be passionate about social media and content, and bring fresh ideas toward the organisation's goal of improving social media and other digital channels.

We are looking for a social media professional and content creator, experienced in creating a variety of content, including videos, podcasts, and graphics for multiple platforms.

Ideally, you will enjoy working on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment and be committed to promoting the communication goals of an organisation.


Key responsibilities:

  • To create digital assets such as video and audio, and to plan and implement multichannel social media content to support College campaigns
  • To manage the College's podcast output, including devising concepts, interviewee recruitment, recording, producing and publishing
  • To manage the social media calendar of Awareness days, weeks and months, including creating and sourcing original content from members, service users and other stakeholders in the form of video, audio and written material
  • To manage the College's Instagram account, including making decisions around how the College supports digital campaigns on the Instagram platform
  • To manage some of the College's multichannel social media campaigns and projects with video, audio and written material
  • Work with digital colleagues to deliver paid for social media campaigns
  • To come up with ideas, and support/lead the implementation of ideas to improve the College's social media
  • To launch new channels, including helping to design a launch plan for Tiktok and other channels we may identify, and a plan for ongoing content creation and maintenance
  • To support on analysis of social media communications, including producing reports

Key skills:

  • Strong content creation experience, ideally with knowledge in written, video and audio content editing/production
  • Experience managing and contributing content to social media channels
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to commission content and repurpose for social use
  • Knowledge of video editing
  • Knowledge/Experience working with podcasts would be ideal
