What is the Project Controls Apprenticeship Programme?
Our Project Controls Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to kick-start your career working on some of the most exciting projects for a generation...
During the apprenticeship you'll work as a Project Controls Engineer based both in the office or with the engineering teams on site, working alongside industry-leading professionals.
Training, development and support for you:
During the course of your apprenticeship, you will work as part of the team based at our Gloucester Business Park office; with opportunities to work at other EDF locations.
You'll also spend time studying at the National College for Nuclear (Cannington) on block release, where you'll complete assignments within the business which will enable you to consolidate your training.
The Future:
At the end of your apprenticeship, you'll move into a permanent role in the Project Controls team at our Gloucester Business Park office with responsibility for a specific project area.
Subject to requirements, there will be further opportunities to continue into a degree level apprenticeship, specialise or explore other roles at EDF.
What you'll need to apply:
- You'll be selfmotivated with a desire to learn and develop
- You'll have the ability to work in a team and independently, as well as being able to balance the responsibilities of study and work
What salary and benefits are we offering you?
- Starting salary of £15,000 plus excellent benefits
- Accommodation and meal costs covered in your first year if you do not live locally to Bridgwater
- 25 days' annual leave
