Job description
We are looking for a skilled and imaginative person to oversee and manage development work for youth, children and families in Quaker communities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the provision of support to Quakers in the area of children, young people, young adults and families.
- Manage and lead staff to deliver Yearly Meetingwide youth, children and family events.
- Work as part of a team to support Quaker communities to thrive.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that Quakers in Britain and Woodbrooke's integrated support for meetings offer evolves in a way that is based on the experience, needs and realities of Quaker communities.
- Bring experience in working with children, young people and families.
- Have an understanding of issues relating to development, integration and participation in faith communities.
- Have an ability to be creative, sensitive and diplomatic with a wide variety of stakeholders.
This role is based at our offices in Leeds (LS2) or London (NW1) or at home if you do not live within reasonable commuting distance of these offices.
