Our client is a highly successful IFA and is now growing. They are now seeking a bright and experienced Technical Administrator/Paraplanner to join them.

This is a multifaceted office-based role and requires someone with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. You will receive full training and support and a chance to progress your career in Financial Services.

The role:


  • Construct appropriate financial planning strategies for clients in conjunction with the advisers
  • Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
  • Preparing calculations e.g. IHT, pension carry forward, tax calculations
  • Research suitable product and tax wrappers
  • Involvement in client meetings alongside advisers
  • Prepare cashflow modelling for clients
  • Write some suitability reports for cases of varying complexity (the majority of report writing is outsourced)
  • Respond to technical client queries relating to trusts, pensions, investments, and tax
  • Build relationships with clients, communicating via phone, facetoface, and in writing

About you:


  • High level of analytical capability and good communication skills
  • Previous experience within a fastpaced IFA Practice
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards this
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products
  • Have strong IT skills; experience with Curo, FE Analytics, and Intelligent Office advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and stay focused even when the day gets busy
  • Confident, resilient, and positive by nature with a cando attitude
  • Smart and professional appearance, personable and reliable
  • Enjoy working in an open office and being part of a friendly and open team
