- Manage and lead the relationship for a portfolio of c15 existing borrowers.
- Originate new business opportunities from the existing portfolio and lead the end-to-end delivery of new money transactions within the portfolio.
- Proactively monitor and manage each borrower's risk profile.
- Maintain a regular dialogue with borrowers and challenge financial performance, sector headwinds and other matters. Arrange and lead at least one call/ meeting per quarter with each client, following receipt of MI or on an ad-hoc basis.
- Lead the Annual Reviews or any Modification Requests full end-to-end process (from initiating the conversations with the customer through to approval and documentation).
- Arrange and lead calls/ meetings with advisers/management/ borrower on all existing borrowers and / or new transactions for existing borrowers. Lead presentations to Credit Forum or Investment Committee for all matters relating to businesses within your portfolio.
- Lead the end-to-end documentation for all modifications, including new money transactions.
- Analysis of management accounts with the aim of identifying and communicating early warning signs.
- Ensuring internal portfolio monitoring / reporting is kept up to date in a timely manner.
- No overdue reviews/ KYC or if any MI is overdue, it has been duly reported.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate/ commercial banking or finance experience required.
- Ability to read and analyse company financial accounts and management information.
- Experience in Writing / Reading credit applications, either from a previous role in Credit or a front office role
- Experience in financial modelling
