    Description

    WPRG is recruiting for a GRAVE DIGGER / CEMETERY OPERATIVE in Chigwell

    The successful applicant must also have experience in ground works and labouring.

    Duties will include:

    -Grave digging with hand tools

    -Use of various power tools

    Dumper truck and machinery use

    -Strimming/Grass Cutting/Shovelling soil

    -Manual Labour / Ground works

    -General caretaking duties.

    Experience with petrol power tools is essential.

    Experience with mini digger/dumper trucks is not essential but would be preferred.

    Minimum of 36 hours per week with some overtime available.

    Things we look for are:

    • Reliability/Timekeeping
    • Use of Mowers, strimmers & grounds maintenance experience
    • Use of Diggers & Dumpers
    • Driving Licence
    • Ability to hand dig in all weathers
    • Initiative
    • People skills

    The successful candidate will be empathetic and sensitive towards the visitors to the cemetery that they will come into contact with.

    Monday - Friday 9am-4pm

    £15.68 per hour
