HR Officer - About the role

Provide expert coaching and advice to managers on HR matters including policy, procedures, employment law, employee relations, and organisational values
Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance & absence management cases
Day to day responsibility for the HR Assistant to ensure that all administration is carried out in an efficient manner, complying with data protection principles
Make effective use of the HR Information System (HRIS) to support managers, monitor potential issues, and provide highquality reports where required.
Take an active role in researching, writing, consulting on and implementing new or updated HR policies/strategies
Take a leading role in recruitment activities to ensure processes run smoothly & our practices meet the needs of the various functions/levels.

Develop effective relationships with recruitment agencies where required

Support the company's Apprenticeship programme, working closely with each function to ensure the apprentices are developing their skills and experience in line with the apprenticeship standard.
Support managers in identifying training and development requirements.

Provide training/coaching for managers on HR related topics
