Trinity House Group are currently supporting a valued client in their campain to build a new Transformation & Business Intellignece team.


A key role in the team will be the Data Analyst position, which will support the data-led transformation of the organisation, working across all business areas, from senior leaders to end users.


Areas of focus will include the prodution of weekly and monthly internal and external reports capturing KPIs, Management Information and Board Reporting.

Supporting the operational and leadership teams as required with detailed, timely and accurate analysisand insight, through ad-hoc and standardised reporting.

Documentation of high-level requirements, detailed requirements and business processes for master data-related solutions and using insight and creative thinking to develop initiatives for providing moreefficient bespoke tools in Excel and PowerBI.


Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques data dashboards, graphs and visualisation
  • Using internal and external provider's data sets, develop and support automated data and reporting processes
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences, provide recommendations and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
  • Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
  • Monitor and audit data quality

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel and understanding of SQL, with handson experience at a high level
  • Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
  • Experienced in building data sourcespecific data models and mapping relevant data fields based on the needs and wants of the stakeholder
  • Able to create bespoke dashboards in PowerBI (strongly preferred), or a similar BI tool
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
  • The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in statistical methodologies, data analysis techniques and scenario modelling
  • An understanding of data protection rules and regulations
