The Secondary School offers tailored education and support for students with diverse needs, including but not limited to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and speech and language difficulties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and differentiated lessons across the secondary curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning challenges, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
The Secondary Teacher will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized learning plans and interventions that support academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being.
Adaptability, creativity, and patience are essential qualities in adapting teaching strategies to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and empowering every student to achieve their full potential.
