    Working as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Milestone Infrastructure you will learn alongside our experienced engineers how to be responsible for the daily control, management, and coordination of construction activities on site to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required safety, environmental and quality standards.

    Milestone Infrastructure is the UKs leading Highways Maintenance company looking after in excess of 48,000km of roads, 300,000 lighting assets and 20,000 miles of footways, always a view to ensuring that all works are carried out as sustainably as possible and with minimal impact to local communities.

    The design of highway structures (bridges, retaining walls, culverts, head walls, masts, sign bases etc).
    Assessment of highway structures for load capacity.
    Utilise relevant structures design software to assist in the development of solutions;
    Undertaking designs (new builds & maintenance) and producing design packages for construction;
    Produce technical reports and other technical output to achieve project outcomes;
    Undertake site visits, surveys and investigations;
    Technical training/supervision of Technicians;
    Working collaboratively with customers to understand and develop project objectives.

    You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
    BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering.
    Knowledge of structures analytical software (desirable) and its use within a bridges environment.
    Knowledge of National Highways standards such as the DMRB and MCDHW (preferred)
    Knowledge of Health and Safety and Construction Design Management (CDM) in design and construction
    Computer literate particularly with packages such as Microsoft Excel and Word, and AutoCad (desirable)
    UK/EEC driving licence.
