Description

Responsible for the ongoing development, optimisation, management and measurement of the company's digital platforms ensuring these channels deliver a best in class user experience for both members and prospects resulting in commercial success for the company.


Key Tasks/Accountabilities:


  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager in governing the company's digital platforms and implementing its digital strategy across all channels including the main website, subsidiary websites and apps.
  • Responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the digital road map and ensuring it aligns to the overarching business and marketing objectives to commercially benefit the business and enhance the user experience.
  • Responsible for working closely with the Content, SEO, UX team and the wider business to ensure the digital platforms perform as expected and deliver the best possible experience for our members and visitors.
  • Responsible for the continual optimisation of the website through A/B testing, heat mapping and user testing to ensure landing pages perform efficiently and effectively and are in line with digital best practice, brand and the overarching digital strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with agencies, in-house developers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements to develop and test engaging user experiences and optimise user journeys for our members and visitors.
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of external marketing agencies to execute best-in-class user journeys and experiences ensuring all activity is delivered on time, to budget and will ultimately deliver ROI.
  • Responsible for managing the digital budget to ensure it is maximised effectively and in accordance with the digital road map and marketing strategy to deliver ROI.
  • Responsible for managing the performance of the digital platforms including website CMS platforms i.e. Episerver and Umbraco, Google 360 stack, AI platform and any website behaviour analytics tool i.e. Hotjar and using this data to drive change to delivera commercial benefit to the company.
  • Responsible for providing technical, creative front-end solutions to meet the needs of marketing initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Responsible for implementing tracking and reporting of marketing campaigns, based on attributes such as channel and audience segments, to provide visibility and to enable ongoing optimisation.
  • Responsible for communicating product improvements, insights and recommendations to all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for providing project management and delivery of technical website and app enhancements from planning through to deployment, tracking workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget across multiple development sprints. Workingclosely with the.
NET and testing team to offer marketing direction and insight to help prioritisation and planning.

  • The go to person regarding digital-related support enquiries with the aim of creating solutions aimed at developing and enhancing digital processes for internal teams. Be an ambassador for digital and champion digital to the wider business.
  • Responsible for ensuring the digital platforms adhere to any relevant legal and regulatory framework and GDPR legislation.
  • The role of Digital Product Manager may have access to Restricted and Confidential member, worker, volunteer and/or business data. This information must only be collected and processed in line with all regulations from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority),the Data Protection Act and all policies and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:


  • Excellent understanding of UX and online user behaviour.
  • Experience in delivering web/app projects.
  • Excellent understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Experience using A/B testing and user behaviour measurement tools.
  • Experience of website cookie management an advantage
  • Experience working with EPiServer CMS and Umbraco is an advantage.
  • Passionate about digital best practices, trends and developments.
  • Able to participate and contribute as a team player.
  • This is a standalone role so applicants must be confidence working on their own initiative
  • Confidently communicate across departments and teams, and work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment.
