We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position at Turner Ward, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford IG3 8XJ.
You will join another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, a 0.4wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainee, 1wte Foundation Year trainee, and a 0.
ARD is proud of being front runners in its delivery of safe services in the least restrictive way, with well-developed Home Treatment Teams and Crises Services and a small, high quality bed base
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, within the inpatient setting.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the teamWork directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
Work alongside 1wte Consultant Psychiatrist, 5wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainee, 1wte Foundation Year trainee, and a 0.Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
