Role Overview:

As a Forklift Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and technical support for a range of equipment within the Derby area.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure our clients' equipment operates at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on forklift trucks and related equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Performing installations and upgrades as required.
Providing technical support and guidance to customers.
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
Participating in on-call duties and responding to emergency call-outs as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a field service engineer in one or more of the following areas: forklift trucks, agricultural equipment, construction plant, military equipment, or motor vehicles.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Full UK driving license.
