An exciting opportunity for an adaptable and motivated Procurement Manager to join the purchasing and supply chain team within a fast-growing and environmentally conscious manufacturing company based near Aylesbury.

This is a permanent opportunity offeringup to £50k dependent on experience.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategy
  • Monitoring and analysing supplier performance
  • Managing suppliers, benchmarking and negotiating to achieve cost savings
  • Coaching and developing a small procurement team
  • Taking steps to improve the efficiency of supply chains

Personal specification of the Procurement Manager:

  • Works well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational ability
  • Track record of meeting cost reduction targets
  • Experience of people management and developing a team


This position will be suited to you if you have held a role leading a purchasing or supply chain team as a: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Category Manager, Commodity Manager, Procurement Team Leader, or similar.
