An exciting opportunity for an adaptable and motivated Procurement Manager to join the purchasing and supply chain team within a fast-growing and environmentally conscious manufacturing company based near Aylesbury.
This is a permanent opportunity offeringup to £50k dependent on experience.Role responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategy
- Monitoring and analysing supplier performance
- Managing suppliers, benchmarking and negotiating to achieve cost savings
- Coaching and developing a small procurement team
- Taking steps to improve the efficiency of supply chains
Personal specification of the Procurement Manager:
- Works well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Track record of meeting cost reduction targets
- Experience of people management and developing a team
This position will be suited to you if you have held a role leading a purchasing or supply chain team as a: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Category Manager, Commodity Manager, Procurement Team Leader, or similar.
