Within the Christchurch & Southbourne Community Mental Health Team, a position has arisen for a Band 4 Administration Team Leader working on a full time basis.


The Christchurch & Southbourne Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) are looking for a highly motivated Administration Team Leader who preferably has a comprehensive knowledge of NHS administrative procedures.

Excellent communication skills and a good level of IT literacy are essential.

Direct line management of the Christchurch & Southbourne CMHT local Admin Team and to ensure the provision of a professional and efficient C&S CMHT Administration Service, maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of administration

To have day to day responsibility for C&S CMHT processes and procedures within their local team

Develop administration systems and functions and to ensure these are rolled out to local team with providing any training if necessary

To ensure that the administration team provide a high standard of Customer service, seeking continuous improvement and sharing good practice between CMHT's and wider Trust administration services

There will be clearly defined objectives which the post holder will prioritize and deliver, but priorities may change, so the post holder will have to be adaptable
