    Sales Associate at Brighton Office (Hybrid) - Smarter Shows
    ~ Full-time Informa Overview Informa is a renowned academic publishing, business intelligence, knowledge, and events company, offering unique content and connectivity worldwide. With over 450 international B2B brands, we offer engaging live and virtual experiences, specialized digital content, and actionable data solutions. Our expertise covers medical devices, pharmaceutical development, engineering design, automation, manufacturing, processing, and packaging. As a Sales Support member of the Engineering Group, located in our newly acquired Brighton office, your role is to assist the team in achieving revenue targets. This involves working closely with existing accounts, as well as building new relationships and creating opportunities to support the growth of our events. You will report to the Exhibition Director and collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Conference Production, as well as a broader sales team. We are seeking a proactive individual who will take on a prominent client-facing role for our brands. Your responsibilities include expanding the exhibition through stand sales, sponsorship, venue branding, and digital offerings. Generate revenue through stand sales, digital sales, sponsorship, and integrated packages for new and existing customers.
    ~ Develop new business leads through outreach, telesales, industry trade shows, and market research.
    ~ Create brand- and industry-specific information to enhance new business sales.
    ~ Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate sales recording and collaborate with the marketing team to incorporate industry insights into event messaging.
    ~ Utilize Salesforce system for sales pipeline management and data maintenance.
    ~ Maintain accurate records in Salesforce to reflect event progress.
    ~ Previous experience in exhibition or events sales is preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry's dynamics.
    ~ Excellent command of written and spoken English, with a knack for clear and effective communication.
    ~ Flexible and creative, always seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
    ~ Consistently delivers high-quality work within established timelines.
