Description

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a part-qualified Management Accountant on behalf of a £13m t/o business based in Aldridge, Walsall on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will oversee the month end tasksof a small finance team, and assist in the production of accurate, reliable and timely Management Information, including KPI's, in the required formats, which may evolve over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring the integrity of data
Assisting with stock valuations
Integrity and consolidation of the Nominal ledger on the accounts system
Reconciliation of bank, control and cash accounts, including foreign currency transactions, Fixed Assets, VAT, PAYE, etc.
Overseeing the Sales Ledger including invoicing, credit control and cash posting
Overseeing the Purchase Ledger including invoice and supplier management
Monitoring and management of relationships with customers and suppliers
Dealing with HMRC and any other Government Agency/Statutory requirements
Documentation, upkeep and improvement where necessary of all accounts department processes and procedures
Continually seeking cost efficiencies through system improvements and work practices
Assist in the training and development of junior staff members
