Description
Metalis are working with an advanced manufacturing company who are known for their complex metal work. They have a large presence within aerospace, defense and oil and gas industries. They're looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
and an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.


Objectives of both positions:


  • A time served maintenance engineer with experience of working in a medium to heavy engineering environment
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance duties on a variety of machinery and equipment
  • Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards
  • Use RCA to identify true cause of failures and report corrective action necessary
  • Rapid response to customers' demands with a quick diagnosis of the issue and an effective fix

Mechanical Maintenance Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • Able to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic engineering drawings
  • High level of understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics
  • Worked with CNC machines, Lathes, NDT processes or forge industry
  • Basic fabrication experience
  • Ability to logically fault find

Electrical Maintenance Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • High level of understanding of PLC's
  • Able to read electrical engineering drawings
  • 17th Edition wiring
  • Basic electrical installation experience
  • Worked with CNC machines, Lathes, NDT processes or forge industry
