Working with the team and reporting to the structures Agent, providing construction input into the concept and detailed design and preparation ahead of construction.
Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:
with the construction and design teams to develop the concept and detailed design and identify opportunities for construction.
and review design and construction deliverables.
with the team and supply chain to ensure that modern methods of construction are identified and embedded in our concept design, detailed design and construction delivery plans.
and author construction delivery plans and products.and review safe systems of works to support the construction delivery plan.
temporary works solutions and integrate the temporary works methods into the design and construction delivery plans.
of option and solution reports.
and management of robust working practices to support the design and construction teams to deliver a safe, efficient and production focused design.
in developing construction sequence and logistics plans.to the preparation of cost estimates, forecasts and budgets.
and co-ordination of on-site survey works.
of threats and opportunities associated with the construction delivery.
Desirable and Essential Experience:
Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc MSc, BEng, MEng).
qualified or working towards.
5 years' experience delivering infrastructure projects including:
and experience of Highways Construction
and experience of highway structure repair and refurbishment.
written and oral communication skills.
ability to manage and control tasks
in some or all of the following:
Traffic Management
within logistically constrained areas – urban environments.
and understanding of temporary works.
and understanding of a good range of highways structures disciplines.
to attend the team's project office in Central London with occasional visits to Client, Designer, and site.
