THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR UP TO 12 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board

The Post:
PHEM JOB 20%

You will be working with The Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS). EMRTS is a training organization, offering opportunities to learn alongside experts.

The Clinical shifts are 12 hours and based out one of the South Wales airbases, you will be attending 2 of these a month.

You will be given the opportunity to work in the helicopter and inthe rapid response physician Car. You will be employed under an honorary contract with EMRTS.


Clinical fellows will also:
Attend up to 3-4 EMRTS Clinical Governance days per year, work commitments allowing.

Present a case or project/paper to one of the EMRTS Clinical Governance Day.

Participate in a quality improvement project with EMRTS which can be presented to the EMRTS Governance Day.


Undertake at least one outreach/teaching visit to a relevant location (e.g., ambulance station) where the trainee will work jointly with one of the education leads on site to deliver an educational session.

Participate where appropriate in Wales Air Ambulance Charity
