    An opportunity has arisen for a Craftsperson (Fitting) within the Telford or Stoke Projects Team.

    The primary duties of the post will be to carry out maintenance and project work on switchgear and plant at 132kV and 33kV substations.

    Candidates are required to have Grade A*-C/4-9 GCSE in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level qualification in both subjects.

    Consideration will be given to applicants who do not possess all the skills required to undertake the role at present but have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training.

    If not already attained the successful candidate will be required to study for Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR - which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required.

    A flexible attitude is essential as you may be asked to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting it's objectives.
