    Description

    DBR Group, acting as an employment business, are recruiting for a suitably experienced CNC Operator for our very well established and renowned client based in Horwich, Bolton, BL6. Our client designs and manufactures quality and bespoke office furniture to various end users throughout the country

    As a CNC operator you will undertake several tasks in the manufacture and assembly of office furniture in the machine shop

    DUTIES:

    • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications (drawings)
    • Use of measuring devices such as verniers to verify accuracy
    • Setting up and programming the machines when required.
    • Selecting appropriate tools and materials.
    • Monitoring the production process.
    • Performing quality checks to ensure that the finished products meet the required standards.
    • As a key member of the manufacturing team, your role as a CNC operator would be vital in ensuring that the company produces high-quality products efficiently and effectively.
    • Carry out additional duties as/when required.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Be proactive
    • A self-motivating attitude
    • The ability to work independently and within a team
    • CNC Machine Experience (Preferably over 1 years)
    • Good time keeping
    • Be able to learn new skills

    HOURS:

    2-week rotating shift pattern

    · WEEK 1 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday

    · WEEK 2 14:00 TO 22:00 Monday to Friday

    Please note there is no scope for a morning or afternoon only shift therefore any potential candidates must be able to commit to both shifts

    REMUNERATION:

    · £12:16 to £15.40 Per hour depending on experience/ skills
