Are you a Maintenance Technician looking to take the next step in your career within the water industry? Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for more of a static based role or a Maintenance Technician who has previous experience working in a 24/7 operational plant and machinery environment? If so, we have a great opportunity for an Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This is a Monday to Fridayrole, but standby cover will be required for evenings and weekends on a rota basis, which equates to an availability payment of around £1,950 per year, plus a performance bonus of up to 5% of your salary and overtime available.
A company van and all the tools and training you will need to complete your role will be provided.As a Maintenance Technician, you will enable and carry out planned preventative maintenance on the key assets at various water recycling centres within the Wessex Water South Region, the area covers Christchurch, Warminster, Charmouth and everywhere in between.
A big part of this role will be to continuously identify and look for ways to make improvements around site to increase the reliability of our plant, assets and site compliance.
ensuring the effective operation of plant machinery and equipment is maintainedplanning and organising workloads
understanding assets and our design standards to provide the best possible service to customers
producing condition reports on plant/assets
visually inspecting and condition monitoring assets
reviewing Scada trends to review system performance and investigating issues
To beconsidered for this role you must hold a valid driving licence, as there will be regular travel to various sites within the region.
You will also be required to participate in a standby rota.Total pension contributions up to 20%.
