We are seeking a full time Band 5 Imaging Business Project Support Lead
Are you dynamic forward thinking with financial experience and supervisory skills, if the answer is yes come and join our Imaging Project Support team based in the Brunel Building at Southmead Hospital.
You will need to have good knowledge of financial and procurement processes and have a sound understanding of statistical reporting, data manipulation & presentations and information governance.
You should possess a high degree of initiative, independent judgement and decision making and have excellent communication skills with evidence of experience or qualification in first line management as you will be managing a small team.

Provide business management support to Imaging Business Manager and Imaging Services Manager along with working closely with other senior staff within Imaging including the Imaging Quality Manager and Imaging Performance and Operations Manager.
The role has a wide variety of aspects including financial review, from procurement to expenditure monitoring & analysis and income recovery.
Develop a strong working relationship with the Divisional Business Analyst to review and analyse data, provide meaningful data interpretation, and clear presentation of metrics.

1.. Provide support to the Imaging Business Manager and Imaging Services Manager with leadership on procurement and stock-control processes.
- Analyse, interpret and collate multi-stranded complex data on all modalities within Diagnostic Imaging and assist in ongoing projects on behalf of the Imaging Services Manager and Senior Management Team, using initiative to resolve problems and achieve satisfactory conclusions
- Maintain, monitor, develop, modify and update complex databases, including setting up reports (e.g. GP allocation, non-medical referrers, patient databases, information systems, invoices, stock requisitions, income and expenditure, turnaround times) as directed by the Imaging Management Team.
- Produce written reports in a timely manner and present in statistical format using Excel, including bar and pie charts for presentation of data/reports at meetings as required e.g bimonthly reports of new non-medical referrers.
- Collate and monitor Friends and Family Data and report back to the monthly Governance meeting
- Liaise with the BI analysts to ensure data provided to the wider team is accurate
- Support and participate in internal departmental audits as required
- Co-ordinate information for billing purposes and raise invoices using the Trust's
- Assist the Plain Imaging Lead and Imaging Services Manager with the administration maintenance and monitoring of the computerised directory of non-medical professionals
- Ensure that invoices are completed in a timely manner and appropriately coded and authorised for payment using the Oracle and EROS systems, in line with Trust policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the Management team in relation to non-pay finance including interventional costings and re-charge for high-cost device expenditure.
- Lead on the scheduling of the departmental Non-pay Group meetings including management of action logs and meeting agenda.
- Provide monthly Interventional Radiology and MAICA reporting figures
- Ordering of specialist items on behalf of the Imaging management team as well as providing back up to the Stock Control function.
- Support, motivate, supervise the Product Support Officers ensuring key performance targets are met
- Ensure Product Support officers have an annual appraisal and personal development plan. Identify and meet any training needs arising from these appraisals.
