My client is looking to recruit a Learning and Development Lead to effectively co-ordinate the Learning and Development needs across the business which includes the sourcing of external training providers, on-the-job training as well as supporting the designand delivery of internal training programs for all staff within the business.


You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of the training programs with Line Managers which is essential to my client's compliance as well as keeping abreast of all current and forthcoming regulatory requirements.

You must have a good understandingof the regulatory compliance environment and be able to work with all key stakeholders across the business in the delivery of the training curriculum.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify the training and development needs for the business from both an organisational development and regulatory compliance perspective.
  • Ensure training providers represent good value for money, the programmes are within budget and a quality product is delivered.
  • Record and maintain staff training records as well as develop, where appropriate the right metrics, and monitor the performance of the training system.
  • Audit training records on a regular basis to ensure the business remains compliant and up to date as well as be available to represent the business as a lead training expert at any regulatory or statutory audit or inspection
  • To manage the Training Programme and ensure that it continually meets the business needs
  • Develop, maintain and improve the training system, with the input from internal Administration teams, and ensure the system is "fit for purpose" for the wider business.
  • Where necessary coordinate learning agreements for management and development training
  • Working with line managers to promote and coordinate apprenticeships, graduate programmes and placements within the business.
  • Work with the HR team onboarding of new staff members.
  • Developing and improving the onboarding process.
The above is only an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. You will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Manager.

The Learning & Development Lead will be in receipt of a basic salary between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package, including plus:
