    Torquay Academy's results have improved dramatically over the past few years thanks to our brilliant teachers. This has resulted in us being an oversubscribed school where students achieve well above national averages.     We believe in strong discipline and support teachers with a strong pastoral team and centralised behaviour systems. We work hard to reduce unnecessary workload so that our teachers can focus on teaching great lessons. We invest in the professional development of all of our staff through 1-to-1 coaching, leadership development and high quality CPD.

    Lessons are centrally planned and set into exceptional pre-printed workbooks which contain all necessary lesson resources. The entire team contribute to this.

    We have a position for a Teacher of English to join us from September 2024. We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their career.
